Worker Registration Data

When you register as a worker via our website, we collect:

  • UK postcode and preferred work regions
  • Trade or specialty

  • Years of construction experience
  • CSCS card status
  • Availability to start work
  • English language level
  • Any additional information you choose to provide

Client Enquiry Data

When you submit a staffing enquiry as a contractor, we collect:

  • Contact name, company name, phone number, and email address
  • Trade required, number of workers, and site location
  • Required start date and contract duration
  • Any additional requirements you provide

Contact Form Data

When you use our general contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the message you send.

Technical Data

We may also collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is collected automatically and used only for website performance monitoring and security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

Worker registrations

We use your registration data to:

  • Match you with suitable construction work opportunities
  • Contact you when relevant site roles become available in your area
  • Maintain our active worker register
  • Comply with right-to-work and employment legislation

Client enquiries

We use your enquiry data to:

  • Respond to your staffing requirements
  • Source suitable candidates from our worker register
  • Provide ongoing recruitment support

Contact messages

We use contact form data solely to respond to your message.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Consent — you give consent when you tick the GDPR consent box on our forms. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

5. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database with servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). Access to this data is restricted to authorised Trade Force UK personnel only.

We also maintain a backup of form submissions in Google Sheets, which is accessible only to Trade Force UK staff.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Worker registrations — retained for up to 2 years from the date of registration, or until you withdraw consent.
  • Client enquiries — retained for up to 3 years for business records.
  • Contact messages — retained for 12 months unless you become an ongoing client or worker.

After these periods, data is deleted unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.

7. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share data with:

  • Google (Firebase, Google Sheets, Google Fonts) — our infrastructure providers, bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
  • Netlify — our website hosting provider.
  • Construction contractors — only where you are a registered worker and we have a suitable opportunity to present you for.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to data portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format.
